Philosophy A Jedi Honors All Beings.
A Jedi does not kill except to defend life; does not steal; does not covet; does not bear false witness; never gives way to anger; never seeks revenge; never despairs.
A Jedi should relieve the poor; clothe the naked; visit the sick; bury the dead; help in trouble; console the sorrowing; hold one's self aloof from worldly ways; never entertain deceit in the heart; never make a false peace; never forsake charity; speak the truth with heart and tongue; never to return evil for evil; never curse them that curse us, but rather to bless them that they may be enlightened by The Force; shall never be proud; not be slothful; not to be a murmurer [spread gossip]; never be a detractor; put one's trust in The Force.
A Jedi applies one's self often to meditation and contemplation of the Living Force; honors the aged; loves the younger; and keeps a constant watch over the actions of our life. The Jedi Code
There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. (There is no chaos, there is harmony.) There is no death, there is the Force.
